The SCI Division handles a wide range of products, including remote control units, switches, and camera modules.
We are developing new markets, new businesses, and new products by bringing together "Sensing Technology" supporting the IoT era, "Communication Technology" contributing to the advancement of an information society, and "Interface Technology" pursuing better operability in automotive and other applications.

The SCI Division develops products that meet diversifying needs based on "Sensing Technology", "Communication Technology", and "Interface Technology".
Our division develops many products closely related to our daily lives, such as remote controls for air conditioners, camera modules and control unit products for automobiles, and wireless communication units such as BLE.
Different combinations of the technological know-how we have developed have allowed us to expand the number of products using wireless functionality to enable smart homes in home appliances and home installations, and to have an ever-increasing range of products, including camera modules that enable developments in ADAS and self-driving technologies in the automotive market. We are also developing products that combine millimeter-wave radars, useful for monitoring and warning of danger, with algorithms we have developed in-house.
By using these technologies in a wide range of fields and applications, we can create new value that will provide excitement to our customers and society.

We develop switches used in smartphones and smartwatches for the communications market. Even while making them more compact and slimmer, these small switches are packed with technological advancements, such as methods using insert molding, pressing, and automatic assembly machines.

Our main products for the home appliances market are items used in daily life, such as remote controls and control units for air conditioners and sanitation. We are putting our efforts into developing products that can make smart homes even safer and more convenient by using wireless technology and millimeter-wave sensors.

We will expand our product lineup to include camera modules, the number of which is increasing due to the advancement of ADAS and automatic driving technologies, and strengthen proposals for switches and unit products used to operate steering wheels and open/close windows.
